Mass coating (also known as bulk coating) by Adelhelm LubriCoat NA is optimally designed to coat small parts like O-rings and fasteners. It’s highly effective and economical for coating large quantities of metal or plastic parts while protecting sensitive components and polished surfaces and provides strong, long-lasting wear protection and abrasion resistance.
Dip-spin and dip coating for metal parts
Dip-spin coating is ideal for coating fasteners, nuts, bolts, stampings, springs and other small metal parts:
- Provides even coverage even on difficult areas like threads
- Transfer efficiency averages 98% or more
- Enables multiple combinations of coatings
- Suitable for complex shapes and curved parts that would otherwise require brush coating
With dip-spin coating, coated parts are spun at high speed to remove excess coating that could compromise precise part specifications.
Dip-coating using immersion drums is gentle on sensitive parts that must be handled carefully. Coating thickness and uniformity is maintained by controlling immersion time and rate of withdrawal from the coating solution.

Specialized coating systems for elastomers and plastics
Adelhelm LubriCoat NA has specially developed methods that produce a thicker, more uniform layer build-up with minimum abrasion than can be achieved with mass coating or dip coating – ideal for difficult-to-deal-with parts.
O-Ring coating with our mass coating methods:
- Allows color-coding for easier sorting and storage
- Protects against chemicals and weather extremes
- Strengthens and prevents damage and abrasion
- Eliminates need for additional lubricants like oil or talc
Solid and dry film mass coatings
Solid and dry film lubricant coatings reduce friction and prevent seizing and galling in demanding conditions like extreme temperatures and pressures that are too challenging for liquid lubricants. Adelhelm LubriCoat NA can process large quantities of small parts cost-effectively through mass coating with solid or dry film coatings.
In addition to standing up to harsh conditions, unlike liquid lubricants, dry film and solid lubricants don’t attract dust, dirt and debris that can harm equipment. Benefits of solid and dry film lubricant coatings :
- Increase productivity
- Reduce operating costs
- Protect against chemicals, corrosion and aging
- Extremely long-lasting
